The communities of Clarington and Port Hope were selected for the initial launch of the Power Savings Blitz program due to local supply constraints that make conservation in these areas a priority. The program has now been expanded to include all communities served by Veridian.
To be eligible, Veridian small business customers in these areas must also meet the following criteria:
- Small business customers are considered those with average monthly demand consumption of less than 50kW.
