  The communities of Clarington and Port Hope were selected for the initial launch of the Power Savings Blitz program due to local supply constraints that make conservation in these areas a priority. It is expected that the program will be expanded in 2009 to include other communities served by Hydro One Networks.
To be eligible, Hydro One small business customers in these areas must also meet the following criteria:
• Small business customers are considered those with average monthly demand consumption of less than 50kW.
• Business does not fall under the category of food service retail (including butchers, restaurants, grocers, etc).
